Passion Projects

Manhattan Island

Jake purchased the most magnificent summer destination for his family in September of 2018. Set in the heart of the 1000 Islands, this spacious four acre premier island paradise offers breathtaking views of the freighters as they pass close by. The five bedroom stunning main cottage offers a large eat-in kitchen, cozy fireplace for cooler nights, and a captivating view of the seaway from every window.

With just enough wooded area, this level land allows easy access to the waterfront and ample space for the kids to explore. Also included on this property is a newly added three-season furnished cottage with a loft directly next to the waters edge. This cottage adds a cute and charming feel to the small island paradise.

Sport Island

Purchased in 2019, Sport Island is a collaborative project to provide a vacation experience like none other in the region. With a 24 bedroom capacity across five island structures, Sport Island has something for everyone.

Amenities include a sandy beach cove/bay for all swim levels, 250 feet of dockage, a snack shack and tiki bar, outdoor fire pit, tennis and basketball court, water sport launch point, a picnic island attached by foot bridge and an additional bridge linking to Little Lehigh Island.

When complete, Sport Island will be the ultimate vacation destination in Upstate New York.

Green Gables Revived

One of his most prized passion projects, Jake takes immense pride in the transformation of the Historic Green Gables. Originally built for the Stevens Family over 115 years ago, only three owners have since held the keys to this Adirondack escape. Surrounded by half an acre of land, views of the mountains, lake and village are breathtaking from every window.

Jake believes restoring properties to their original beauty is an investment in the community. This piece of Lake Placid history received a new roof, full porch and cedar siding restoration, custom paint job, new propane boiler, professional landscaping with sod, plumbing and electrical upgrades, renovated bathrooms, chimney cleaning, driveway resealing and over $100k in brand new furniture. This historic home is a turn key offering, ready for it’s next owner.
